POSITION: CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

What is the role?

We are looking for a seasoned financial professional to join us as our Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO). You will be a key partner in developing, monitoring, governing and evaluating the overall corporate strategy, planning & analysis with a focus on bottom line financial and operating
performance management – all while enhancing value for our investors, shareholders & community. Governing our operations and assets across the Group’s portfolio of companies requires you to be agile and inquisitive. Corporate finance, strategic initiatives and investor relations are of particular
interest as we embark on the next phase of the Group’s journey.

What does a typical day look like?

Be an Agent for Change

● Partner with the Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and the rest of the leadership team in leading an organizational transition as a leader, a change agent and an active motivator.
● Redesign the finance and accounting team structure across the Group.
● Build, lead and direct the finance and accounting teams. Build a Well-Oiled Machine
● Define the financial strategy and provide useful financial insights to help make the best decisions about executing our business strategy.
● Maintain executive responsibility for financial operations including; working capital, capital expenditures, debt levels, taxes, budget and general accounting.
● Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgets and consolidations, planning and analysis across the Group.
● Develop and direct financial plans to deliver the strategic business plan, company growth and market opportunities and direction.
● Establish and maintain stable cash flow management policies and procedures, and ensure cash resources are available for daily operations.
● Set up and oversee all financial and operational controls and metrics within the organization.
● Overall responsibility for the financial reports and results announcement to ensure compliance with MFRS, IFRS, the provisions of the Companies Act      2016, listing requirements of Bursa Malaysia and other regulatory requirements.

Prepare for Future Growth
● Analyze current and future business operations and plans to determine financial effectiveness.
● Team with the Group CEO to nurture positive and impactful relationships with investors, shareholders and outside lending/equity organizations.
● Develop and execute plans to maximize returns on invested funds. What does our ideal candidate have?
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
● Curious and collaborative mindset, who always seeks to understand first in order to partner with colleagues to achieve a better outcome.
● A ‘player-coach’ mentality who is comfortable executing the work while nurturing the next generation of finance professionals.
● A strong team player with 15-20 years of finance experience, preferably in public-listed companies.
● Possess at least a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or professional qualification by MIA.

 

POSITION: Group Human Resources & Administrative Senior Manager

What is the role?

We are looking for a seasoned leader to lead our Group Human Resources team. You will be a key partner in evaluating and evolving the systems and processes that govern the most important asset of the group – our employees. Reporting to the Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO), you must be
comfortable wearing many hats – employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, labour compliance, talent acquisition, budget owner, people manager. As we embark on the next phase of the Group’s journey, we are looking for a HR professional who is passionate about building.

What does a typical day look like?

Be an Agent for Change
● Partner with the Group CEO and the rest of the leadership team in leading an organizational transition as a leader, a change agent and an active motivator.
● Redesign the engagement model between human resources and the business divisions across the Group to become a trusted business partner.
● Design a new support model between administrative team and business division heads.
● Build, lead and guide the human resources and administrative teams.

Build a Well-Oiled Machine
● Help us attract and hire the right people:
○ Assist business divisions with the creation of job descriptions to attract the right talent for open positions in the company.
○ Manage the end-to-end talent acquisition process.
● Manage the day-to-day operations of the HR and Administrative teams:
○ Develop and Manage and monitor payroll administration process for internal and statutory compliance.
○ Develop and maintain all necessary HR procedures and information systems to ensure that the group has all the information required to operate effectively.
○ Advise business leaders and people managers on the best practices and legal requirements of HR processes and policies.
○ Provide the additional layer of support to people managers on employee relations issues, especially from a regulatory and legal perspective.
○ Ensure the administrative team is appropriately sized to provide support across the Group.
● Performance Management
○ Co-develop of the performance management process – setting goals, collecting feedback and justifying compensation and promotion decisions.

Prepare for Future Growth
● Re-imagine the employee experience and design a new employee life cycle utilising the unique advantages of the Group, from attraction to off-boarding.

● Jointly work with people managers to plan their manpower requirements based on corporate vision and business objectives.

What does our ideal candidate have?
● A curious and collaborative mindset, who always seeks to understand first in order to partner with colleagues to achieve a better outcome.
● Extensive experience with interpersonal relationships and conflict resolution.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to combine data and observations into actionable strategies.
● A ‘player-coach’ mentality who is comfortable executing the work while nurturing the next generation of leaders.
● A strong team player with at least 10 years of HR experience working with Malaysia’s employment laws and regulations, with at least 4 years in a managerial role.
● Graduated with at least a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent.
